Yep, thats the one. Note you also need the Mitsi brake hose and banjo fitting that bolts to it, but that shouldn't be hard to get.
Here are some more pics of the caliper for those trying to find them at wreckers.

Alot of people use the pintara calipers.

I'm saving up and adding this kit to the list.
Best thing I ever did to my Sierra was rear discs (from Pintara)
Can't risk the cheaper LowRange, no hand/emergency brake type kit.

Correct. Only exception is the later 96-97 models that have the wheel studs in the axle rather than in the drum, although I have just made some trial brackets for these too...

how much better are these compared to the standard drum brakes(like pros and cons)
and how long would the job be to install if i had a mechanic (just finished apprenticeship)
helping me to do it?

Rear discs give better pedal feel than drums. If you drive in mud the pads will last much much longer than drums, and require much less maintenance. They also work when wet / muddy, and the handbrake actually works.
It only takes a few hours to install - everything is bolt on.
The guy who ran my first test kit over here said this about them:
"One of the best mods done to the truck! Awesome pedel feel never need to touch the brakes other than to change pads and all 100% reversable as it all bolts on (no welding or cutting). Highly recommended"

I just spent all arvo cleaning the mud out of my Vitara rear drums,
to get my brakes to work.
Drums and shoes are less than 10 months old,
and are both badly worn and scored.
Only driven one bog hole since I put new brakes in for rwc.
Putting rear discs on my old Sierra saved me a fortune,
and saved on frustration.
Here in Aus we must have a working hand brake, separate from normal brakes (emergency)
So a lot of other kits sold on the net are not suitable,
as they don't include a hand brake.

Yup. Conditions here are pretty similar to Victoria. I have gone through a set of brand new shoes in 1 day after a trip through lots of sandy clay bogs and a 40km drive home. After changing to discs, the pads last long enough that I can't remember when I last changed them.
The handbrake also works surprisingly well.

I would be 'VERY' interested in a late model kit.
I take it this is a late model axle?

Yes, thats the one. The kit for the later axle does not have a disc adaptor as the disc fits directly on the axle, and the brackets are different to suit the offset.

Unfortunetly yes only that one. I couldnt find a model number on the thing, i could find that it was a 92 but that was about it.
It was just a 2 wheel drive 2.0l model. Not the fancy simon mentioned.
