PVC doesn't last long when you spray the inside with nasty propellants Keep and eye on the plastic and rebuild it before it takes your hands off. and potatoes work much better than oranges |

potatoes are much better, tennis balls work good too, also if something is too small to fit just wrap it up in paper, it worked for me, used to wrap up a heap of gravel or marbles, voila, just like a shotgun. my one used to heat up if i fired it too much and the cap would come off and flames would come out the back, lost a lot of arm hair like that. |

The amount of fun to be had is directly proportion to the size of the cannon.

I made mine with 50mm PVC as the barrel and 100?mm as the chamber with a screw cap lid. BBQ piezo sparker. Add potato and aerostart!!! Shoots ridiculously far. Extra dry bottle are a good fit too :s |

best one i have played with is for golf balls but uses air and a ball valve. pump it up to 90 100 psi and you wont find the ball. ps don't put air in it in a garage!! went through the plaster and roof tiles. treat it like a gun |

lol spud guns hahaahah many stories i can tell. 1st of all throw that deodorant away and use taft hairspray that shit is insane. I also experimented with start ya bastard but was too scared to use to much and it fired piss weak. Whenever we went night time 4wding we use to take it and catch oversized toads, and there was this rock wall that we shud shine our spotties on and anihalate (spelling) the poor bastard on. If any one knows brekky creek part of brisbane river, we shot an onion from the little jetty on the river (down from where everyone gets married) and no kidding it got about 5 metres shy from the other side lol. And yes oions shoot far better than spuds, the trick is to get an oversized one position it on some concrete and cut the barrel pipe down onto it so its super snug. And another trick is when u pump the spray in close the lid but let the gases move around for a little bit then spark it. |

wrap as much of the barrell and hand piece in duct tape so if it does shatter you don't get shards of pvc stuck in you every where |

we used to embed nail punches in the spuds, would shot comfortably through corrugated iron (old fashioned thick stuff) and the spud would simply smash on it! |

Mate has a nozzle on his for the propane cans. extradry bottle, quick squirt of the propane, Kaboom! He has blown up on before experimenting, The object was too big/hard fit and blew up the chamber...... Tooheys new stubbies, lemons, oranges, tennis balls of fire are all good. |

if you enjoy it blowing up in your face try a little brake cleaner in there., I'd also wrap the entire length of it with at least a layer or two of duct tape or similar, will keep the shards to a minimum when it pops Tennis balls squeezed full of silicon then left to cure for a few days are good. |

get a bit of pipe the same as the barrel then put water bombs in it and freeze them then take the ballon off and u have urself a ice bullet u can fire it through anything then the evedence just melts my mate has a air one and we were putting 50mm holes in 12mm ply from 50m away |

fill a tennis ball full of metho and soak it in it then put it down the barrel then use propane as fuel and ignite it fires a wicked fireball make sure u fire then ova water tho lmfao aussie is to easy to set alight to the country side also make hot air ballons with a garbage bag a small alluminium cake tray the cheap 1 that are just thicker than tin foil tye to open end of grbage back and light a jiffy and put it in the tray these are wickd moving targets that u can shoot at with a spud cannon and u can have real fun with them |

well on the spud cannon have a look at the pic u push the projectile down the small chamber from the tip using the small bit of pipe u see beside the spud cannon then u remove the white lid and spray about 3-5 sec of airosole into the pipe where u removed the white lid quickly put the white lid back on let to sit for a few secs the push the bbq ignighter (the little black botton on the other cap and bang the fuel ignites and expands sending the projectile out the end of the pipe sometimes it wont ignite on first click so u might have to click a few times |

be very careful u will need a y piece of about 100mm, 2 caps, 1 100-50mm reducer, about 1000mm-1200mm of 50mm pipe, a bbq egnition switch and some blue glue to glue everything inplace apart from where ya threaded cap goes as u need somewhere to put the airosole if u buy it all at once u might get a real funny look, they will know what ya building and if ya caught with 1 u can be arrested for having an unlicenced firearm also like said its a good idea to wrap it in duct tape to reduce the effects when it shatter its not a if it shatters its when |

The next step is to make it breach loading so you don't need to spinend on and off, had plans 10 years ago, will have a look. |

Then throw the hairspray can away, but take the nozzle cap thing off, go buy some camping butane tins (small camp stove, aerosol can size) fit the nozzle, spray and BOOM! |
