yeah i can measure it up for you.
we got a big of cardboard and cut it to the exact size of the inside of my car.
drawing it up on the cardboard made it 1000X easier.
having a angle finder helps too =]
haha i only just threw out the bit of cardboard with all the measurements and angles written on it....

we just ran some flat bar across the bottom.
i just used where the rear seats use to bolt in.

Looks the goods

Reckon I'm gonna make something like this for my tin top sierra, just to stop my dog from trying to jump on my lap while driving. He's not a small dog

Or try something like this:

Image

A bit of equal angle mounted to the stock seatbelt bolt ... modified stretchy lead (400kg breaking load; stretches about 15cm then stops) from local PetStock store ... and a matching harness. Dogs are heaps happier in their harnesses than they ever were up there loose - they have just enough stretch that they can get the front half of their body off the shelf, so if they flipped around tail-first in an accident they still wouldn't be through the windscreen.
