bought these seats from repco yesterday. $300 for a pair. pretty cheap i reckon. not bad to sit in either. all you have to do to fit is drill the front to holes in the rail 10mm forward and the rails bolt straight up. easy job. |

they look alright, at least they don't have a stupid high lateral thigh support which makes them a pain to get in or out. |

Yeh.. Got the same seats...... Heaps more comfy then the stockers... The side support is pretty high and it does make it a little harder to get in and out... But it is worth it |

I have a mate that has these. Must uncomfy seats I have ever sat in. Felt like the back was too straight. |

All you have to do is drill the front hole ineach rail 10pm forward. And bend the seat adjuster slider leaver Thingy around a little lol |

Not intending to bag your "install" but if your shoulder straps go through the seats and straight down to the floor without passing over a substantial horizontal support at shoulder height, you are risking MAJOR spinal injury in the event of even a low speed impact. Please address this. Peter. |

what droopypete is talking about is getting a roll cage with a horizontal harness bar behind you seat so the harnesses aren't mounted straight down to the floor. in the case of an accident you could get sprinal injuries. there are maximum angles that the harness can be on from your shoulders/seat back to the mounting point/harness bar & i "think" it's something like 30* maximum. |

You are correct grasshopper it is basic physics, if the belts go over your shoulders and straight to the floor, in the event of a frontal impact your weight will push you forward, the seat would collapse and the straps will compress your spine in a big way, and it wouldn't take a huge impact to do this.

On a separate note, most people who fit a full harness system in a 4x4 get sick of them very quickly, I am a big believer in regular (lap or lap/sash) seat belts off road in most instances (not all) but find a full harness very intrusive, if you want to have a look out the side to see how close you are to that rock/tree/hole you can't, in the end I would loosen off the shoulder straps and just use the lap belt section. The only positive of a full harness setup over an inertia reel belt I found was that you could park on a steep angle, and when you got back in you were still be able to put your belt back on. Peter. x2 they are more of a pain in the ass then anything else, most of the guys I know with them only have them because they are required for comps, and dont use them for social wheeling. |

Peter. I got sick and tired of my inertia belt shortening everytime I bumped over something, near chocking me, or, when at angles getting out of the car and not being able to put my belt back on till on level ground, so, maybe a very slight bit norty, but, a cable tie on the belt at the top, by the frame, sit in the seat, have the belt a touch lose, cable tie the belt so it cannot get shorter, an bobs yr uncle, no more constriction or inability to put on at angles. |

i got mine for 300 today, dont fit as i dont have normal sierra rails, gonna have to do up some brackets or get some sierra rails with the seats ive got and rails currently i sit about 1 1/2 higher then my mates sierra's, i like sitting that hi. do coilies have different rails to leafies?, i think ive got coily seats in my leafy |
