Lately I have been doing a bit more towards getting the Megasquirt setup on my 16v and thought you guys might be interested in seeing the patch loom I made.

It's an adapter that allows me to plug the Megasquirt ECU into the stock wiring loom.

I canniblised an ECU out of an old Mazda of some description to get the proper socket.

I then attached the socket to a strip of vero board and mounted it in an aluminium case.

It was a good excuse to use the mill for the first time!!!

I'll mount the box on the firewall somewhere and the stock loom will plug into that. The DB37 connector (white one) will plug into the Megasquirt, and the other little plug is the I/O for the wideband oxy sensor controller.
