Ah is the latch stop on the wrong side and now won't allow the latch to open?

It was meant to be the spacer under the latch

Andrew88:
in the ally mig photo, do you use pulse mode? Just looks like each "dime" has a cool spot in the centre.
What action do you use with the torch/gun? ie: cursive "e's" etc.

Pritty sure the welder isn't set up for pulse. I do circle's to get that affect (which may be cursive e's now that i think about it). Apart of my procedure is to heat the base plate to 200 degrees with a oxy, then weld straight away. I was getting too much undercut with other methods i tryed. I've been approved for this procedure by engineer.

Will have to post pictures of a supposed 'professional' workshop whom outfit the interiors of work vans, utes etc... with shelving, workbenches and the like.
The job they did on my new van, migod a chimpanzee would be disgusted at the quality of the job, the welds look like they just had a bird shit directly on the joins, then painted over it, and that's just the beginning.
