Hey all I have wanted to do a table on the rear door for a while... Have seen a few but they never looked right... So here is what I have came up with! First I made a template out of cardboard then put it onto the ply and had to do a check out for the latch! Any way ill let the pictures do the talking! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I checked a piano hinge in the bottom and used the hinge things off a card table to hold it square! It's then held up to the back door with a ute tourno cover strap thingo! Can't wait for the next bush BBQ and then use it as a bar later that night! |

Cheers mate! I didn't have the cover on the rear door to start with so I ha to make a template... That was probably the bit that took the longest time! |

I did think about that but I have my rear lights in the tail gate so the wiring is behind that.... So I wouldn't want anything rubbing on that! And I hate stuff ratleing around! Haha I have t shirts and a jacket stuffed in my rear draws to try stop the ratleing! Haha |

The best mod I have ever done is my rear table much the same as yours , but also made it a little bit of a cupboard behind the table , it's only about 50mm deep but my salt pepper oil matches ect live there . Was such a handy thing when the girlfriend and I lived out of the zook for 3 months . With only 7 nights paid accommodation . |

I'm always reluctant to put stuff on the tailgate cause of weight issue. Looking at the design some telescoping folding legs would perharps help? |

Have used it heaps and its awsome!!!! Weight isn't an issue as I don't run a spare on my back door! A little trap door in the centre of the bit on the rear door is a good idea!!! |
