Had a head of left over old palings and rails from when I built a new fence, needed a bench at the entrance of our house... here's the end result. Still needs to be oiled

That is a great use of your old fence.. I'd be cutting off the bolts so things like legs, dresses etc don't get torn on them. If you put a shelf inside it...you could put shoes etc in there..if it's under cover that is.

It's going to come apart again in the next week to be painted and oiled plus minor adjustments so I'll trim the bolts then. Shoe stowage is a good idea
