Hey guys, had a search and coming up with nothing useful.
Question is: Is a 2inch suspension lift and 30inch tyres acceptable under Vic's tightarse laws on a coily sierra without engineering? The car I am looking at is in another state, so will have to undergo a VicRoads inspection, not just a roadworthy.

I can't answer your question, as I live in QLD and am not overly familiar with VSI50 rules, but Vic Roads would know..... They won't be as trustworthy as an internet forum, but might be of some use

Yeah Fatzook, I posted this question after calling them and not getting anywhere (apparently the department that "might" know does not work saturdays). I have also read a few threads while trying to find the answer here and on other forums that strongly suggest that VicRoads don't know their heads from their arseholes and will often give out conflicting information.
Figured that some of the local folk who have been through this might be a more reliable source of info. If i can't get anything solid and in writing from VicRoads tomorrow, I will probably try the local suzuki club.

Knew you'd know it! Thanks mate. Whatever happened to him? Hasn't been on since March, and no news of the new rig... Would love to have a chat about transplants.
