I replaced my m13a alt with a donor alt from a V6 Camry. Straight bolt on and pulley swapped over with no modifications needed. Only caveat is the battery light stays on, but I'm leaning towards my lack of a s terminal connection.
I tried this with a 140amp high output alternator on my g16b swapped 2000 jimny
The back of the pivot bolt mount has a big notch and had to be grinded of, took me ages to realise as it's so tight I thought it was hitting on the engine mount The belt is now to short so will go try for a bigger one tomorrow
Can definitely recommend this mod. It's farking tight, but it does fit with some subtle panel beating.

Edit: got larger 855 size belt and goes well now, charging at 14.5v at idle. Awesome mod to double the output for only $40 more than an oem replacement
