As a test, Lock one fan up completely, or fit a Sierra solid fan, that will rule in or out the fan hub

I bought a brand new one off amazon, kept the refilled one as a spare.
So it hasn't done much work.

Im finding my new (6months old) isnt doing a great job. But i filled up my original suzuki one and it has leaked a bit, just sitting in the toolbox. I wonder if new seals are availible? Could swap seals from new one to original.

did this to my g13bb jimny today, was pretty easy to do, didn't have to remove anything other than the fan & undo the bolts on the radiator shroud so i could bend it. can't really say if there's an improvement or not, feels just as stiiff/tight as before i did it but not sure if i've gotten it hot enough.

i would have ditched the old oil, like any oil it would have broken down by now.

Dont think it really matters gus, i know you should but with out measuring how much comes out, it would be hard to know how much it actually needs.

I put 1 and a bit tubes in mine and its prob a bit to much as its on the majority of the time. (Mine was new, few months old so didnt need to worry about dirty oil). I like mine being on a lot of the time as it keeps it cool for longer when working hard.

Good stuff. I just picked up one of these for my 1.6 Sierra, I hadn't intended to fill it but I might now. I did it a couple times with my 1hz 80 series too. From what I remember Toyota oil has a 6000cst rating, you can also use thicker oil with higher cst rating at hobby shops, they use it in diffs on rc cars.

I would be careful about using fluids with different ratings without a good understanding of how they will effect the function of the clutch.
