Day one was a little bit more slippery than ideal, not that it was a bad day, it's just that we didn't really have the line choice we would have liked.
Track conditions on days 2 and 3 were perfect.
Steve.

Everyone made the muddy climb - it just took a lot of throttle. The video shows dank's successful climb.
I think a couple of cars did it first hit.
Blueberry - there's no build thread in Greyghost's hardtop. It's G16 carby/trimatic 4:1 transfer, 3.7 diffs, RUF, power steer, and no lift. Lots of cutting and even more panel damage. Hardtop shells don't last long for that kind of driving.
Steve.

Update: Adventure Tour 2012 will be featured in the next issue of Dirt Comp Magazine which is on its way to the printers this week.
Apparently there is a 3 week wait time between printing and mag-on-shelf stages.

I thought vitara rears didn't fit onto a sierra (pumpkin offset?) or are they custom housings??

Of the first time, AT14 is open for a very limited number of interstate entries.
Interstate membership joining fee is $60. Passengers $10.
Interstate joining fee includes a T shirt and sticker, and ensures you are covered under the clubs insurance policy.
Please note that if you reside within Victoria. you have to be a full financial member of the club to participate in Adventure Tour.
I'd suggest there would be no more than three places available to interstaters, and one of those places looks to already be taken.
Please note the following vehicle requirements, they have changed slightly:
Changes to Vehicle and Member Requirements for 2014
The Minimum Vehicle Requirements will now be:
Sierra: 32” Tyres (Measured) Front Locker Rear Locker Front Recovery Point Rear Recovery Point Soft Tops: Additional Roll over protection mandatory Hard Tops: Additional Roll over protection advisable
Bigger than Sierra: 34” Tyres (Measured) Front Locker Rear Locker Front Recovery Point Rear Recovery Point Functional Electric Winch for Self Recovery Soft Tops: Additional Roll over protection mandatory Hard Tops: Additional Roll over protection advisable
"Additional roll over protection" Entails a minimum of a 4 point roll bar, securely mounted. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Participants are also expected to attempt all three days of driving.
Cheers, Steve.
