My Gregory's Manuel eats the cheese. The motor I purchased from here's timing was out by a mile. It was running retarded and was at the max setting advanced. So I'm guessing the timing belts skipped a tooth. My Gregory manual doesn't explain how to set it up without already having it marked so ya can put it back the same place it came out. How do I do it? |

Have you checked timing belt yet? Set the engine to TDC. Mark the #4 post on the cap onto the dizzy housing. Pop the cap off and check where the rotor is pointing to. If it needs moving then just undo the bolt, pull the dizzy out and move it round a tooth |

Yeah it was out. I'll have another look at the belt and TdCing it and go from there. |
