| Post subject: | F10a fuel pump issue |
I have recently purchased a 1983 sj40T ute sierra and have problems getting fuel to the carby. I have drained the fuel tank and put fresh fuel in, replaced the fuel filter and cleaned out the lines with an air compresser and cleaned out the fuel pump. Though i am still having trouble getting fuel to the carby. So im thinking there might be problems with the fuel pump. Any suggestions what it might be? Or any suggestions where i can get a new fuel pump? Cheers |

Fuel pump could be the issue. Or Needle and seat in fuel bowl could be blocked. Or need to prime the fuel through after draining. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Fuel-Pump-ki ... 35a56cc714 |

Do the F10a carbs still have the little brass mesh filter in the banjo fitting like F8a ones? |
