Is there anyway to stop the window going all the way up/down when you push/pull the switch? I have to jiggle the bloody thing up and down to get it to stop and it's a pain I hate it.

New switch? Is it an 'auto' switch? |

Yes it is or at least that's what is printed on it. |

I would say the switch is just worn. They usually have the 2 stages, allowing auto or manual operation |

1/2 press & hold, stop at desired height |

I've always had the opposite problem - has never auto'd all the way I've had to hold it. That's across both cars! |

Thanks guys - I pulled the switch and gave it a spray with the magic electrical clean and lube and now it works great ![]() Now all I have to do is get the passenger side inside door handle to work and the rear drivers side window to go up and down but I don't sit there so no hurry |
