Cpolys run a strut at the front. That kit shows 4 individual shocks and springs. Also, the pic of the zook has some non-standard lower coil mounts, which are not pictured as part of the kit on display.

I guess I should have specified that the pic of the lift kit is the new(?) one for the Jimny. I am waiting on a parts list for the coily kit and hopefully some pics of that as well... will post when I receive any new info.

Thanks for the quick responses.

Ok, got an email back with the list of parts as follows:

FRONT COIL SPRING
REAR COIL SPRING
SHOCK ABSORBER FRONT
SHOCK ABSORBER REAR
REAR LATERAL ROD BRACKET
FRONT LATERAL ROD BRACKET
FRONT LATERAL ROD
REAR LATERAL ROD
FRONT TRAILING ARM, LEFT
FRONT TRAILING ARM, RIGHT
REAR TRAILING ARM, LEFT
REAR TRAILING ARM, RIGHT
BRAKE HOSE
SPECIAL ROD END
4WD TRANSFER CASE FRONT SHAFT FLANGE
REAR SHAFT FLANGE
FRONT COIL STOPPER
FRONT DIFFERENTIAL BRACKET
BUSHINGS - REGULAR

Further instructions as follows:

The front differential bracket needs to be welded on to the differential and we will send you additional instructions on how to do that.
The front bump stops are different from the Jimny kit because the principle difference between the two kits is that the Samurai front shocks are located inside the front coils.
The kit weighs 60 kgs gross in two boxes that measure 87 x 25 x 20 cms each.

Am I right in thinking the front coil stopper and diff brackets in the parts list above are sufficient to swap to shocks in the front? I've emailed 4xfourart about that as well...

Any other thoughts?

I opened the link then quickly closed it... If I started talking about that, my wife would hack me to bits...

Hmmm... Maybe to show my son....

here are two pics of the lower coil mounts for the front coils

they added in response to the questions I asked :
"you will get a full 10 cms lift with this kit.
It is designed to give the full 10 cms with all off road equipment such as roll cage, winches, roof rack, 2 x spare tyres, steel bumpers, etc.
In other words it is racing grade.
You will be able to use shocks instead of struts which will allow for a much greater range of flexibility in the long run.
Our shocks are specially made for us by Monroe and the length and stiffness are designed for this kit."

Think I'm gonna give the kit a go and see what happens (unless anyone has a compelling reason not to?)... and I'll take Fatzook's advice and fit a WT Transfer so i can get some gears.

I wonder how stiff this kit would be without all the weight.

Not sure but I already have the roof rack and am planning on the ARB front winch bar and a rear bar in the immediate future... Then will work on the rops... Plus I already weigh about 120kg ;)... I'll start a build thread and keep interested parties updated on the kit...
