Hi guys, Im new to the Suzuki world and am looking into getting a 2013 Suzuki Jimny. Now i drive a Hilux and I'm used to the go everywhere unbreakable car. What modification would you guys recommend being put on a suzuki jimny to make it into a go everywhere unbreakable car. Also any suggestions on larger tyres and experiences with scrubbing issues. Cheers Beast |

Transfer case bash Guard is my fave. Transfter cables and plugs are venerable. Exttended break lines and bodylift help with clearing guards if you didnt want to just cut them off. |

Beast, We don't know where you're driving or what terrain you are used to driving, but there won't be any problem making a jimmy as capable as a Hilux. It won't be as durable though, standard, and you're likely to end up running a much bigger tyre (as a % increase) on the jimmy than the hilux. Barwork, bolt on suspension, headers, exhaust won't make your car any more capable, but lockers, tyres and gearing will. These would be the priority items. I think upgraded front axles, a sierra transfer swap, lockers, and around a 30" tyre would be starting point. But as I've said, we don't know what you're driving or what "go everywhere" means - my own sierra is far from a go anywhere vehicle, but it will go places no hilux can go. Steve. |

On that, how hard tid you drive the hilux? Personally I need my 175mm of overal lift for water crossings to meet the capabilities of other 4x4s. |
