Post subject:  Lift on SJ70 Sierra

I just want to know the pro's and con's of doing a 2" body lift as well as a 2" lift kit at the same time. I want to lift mine and put on some sunnies with possibly about 31" tyres.
Is it best to do one or the other? and what has to be adjusted when I do?

Thanx

Body lift clears tyres. Suspension lift improves compression travel, often at the expense of overall wheel travel, but you can space bumpstops to prevent fitting a body lift and maintain stock compression travel, although obviously total suspension travel is still reduced.

You don't want to cut guards so bumpstop spacing or a body lift is required.

Seriously, this has been done to death. A search will reveal the same information a thousand times.

Steve.
