Hi All,

I have just joined the site and i am looking for a bit of info for y SJ80 build. I have access to a 2000 Jimny Diff center with a Spartan Locker. The question is, does the carrier (center, hemi or whatever you want to call it) from a 2000 Jimny fit into an SJ80?

first are you talking about a front diff or rear?

if rear it will bolt in but the gearing will almost definitly be different.

Thanks Tanshi, sorry it was the rear diff i was talking about as i know the SJ80 front diff is a whole different kettle of fish and no-one make a locker for it (as far as i know).
Well in that case i guess i could get the locker out of the Jinmy housing and put it into the housing of the original SJ80 rear diff, as long as the housings are the same it should work in either shouldnt it?

yep, the lockers from jimny, coily and leafy rear diffs are all the same
