There's no mechanical difference. There's been a bunch of "limited editions" over the years that normally just add decals and a collection of options rolled into one package (like a nudge bar/floor mats/standard aircon) Steve. |

As steve said - most manufacturer badged "sport" "limited" etc models are exactly that - just a badge/sticker. The stuff that's put on it to make it "special" is usually just stuff you'd normally pay to have put on/included but they decided to stick a few bits on and call it a limited edition to flog more cars that month. |

Throw some stickers, spare tyre cover, A/C and a nudge bar on them, claim thousands in free extras, and sell the old stock quick. Steve. |

Was also a 4wd Sidekick Sport too, aka the SV Vitara's but they're like chalk & cheese when comparing them to a SE Vitara. |

The Swift RE.1 was basically the same thing, it was supposed to be a 'rally' pack with a different front bumper and rear spoiler. But I know at least one Suzuki sales office that had a pile of RE.1 sticker packs on the floor next to the bosses desk. Apparently they offered to throw them on a standard swift every now and then to help close the deal and clear some stock. |
