I'd be inclined to ask an engineer about those - cos they look to me like they'd just rip through the chassis with all the leverage on those 2 bolts.

there is 4 bolts used if you click on the install instructions but yeah i was thinking the same, recon any engineers on here would know? wish i could have ones like yours  want to fly to darwin and make me some :p

lol i didn't make mine, suzistore did it. They could probably replicate them though, no idea what they'd charge. Obviously mine require cutting and grinding off the old ones and welding the new ones on too - so unless you're engineering it, it's totally illegal to do. (no different to the bolt on alternative, but impossible to reverse). |

No one on here is i'm afraid. Look up your local department of Transport website and they should have a list of approved engineers you can consult. Then you just need to find a fabricator to knock them up for you. I'd suggest making them out of cardboard as a template. The height will need to be set to match the shocks you plan to run at the ride height you plan to run it at. |

No one on here is qualified to answer that question, you'd have to ask a consulting engineer. I'd suggest getting that list and contacting the one nearest to you, tell him you are thinking of doing the mods and send all the info and ask if he'd approve the work to be done with those parts. That shouldn't cost you a dime. From there you can decide if you actually want it engineered or not too. |

its for a none registered vehicle so engineering isnt a worry but i think i might go that option anyways just to see if they would work as no one on here would know? |

If this is just a bush rig and getting things welded ect is going to be out of your reach and hard to find someone to do, why not do what the rest of us not weldy people do and put some good soft springs under it , gears , spool the rear some nice tyres and call it done. Then actually get out in the bush and have fun. |

I wouldnt bother to be honest. They look shit, proper nasty. I dont know what you're building to utilise the extra shock length available, but I cant think of a bolt on option that I would use. You could use some scissor shackles I guess, which would use the extra droop. However, it's unsprung droop, so it doesnt actually help with stability/driveability and isn't worth doing. |

I've tried talking my mate into doing the welding if I did a R.U.F on my car and he's not overly keen to play with car and project welding - not because there's any issue with the welding, just eats into fun time on motorbikes. I haven't come across any terrain in the Darwin area that *needed* a hardcore built suzuki, I think one with gearing, twin lockers and power steer would do most of it on 30s or 31s. My 2C. |
