Hello how do I tell what ratio my diff is . I have the centre out but cant see any numbers if there are any. Thanks, |

Count the teeth on the crown wheel, then count the teeth on the pinion. Then divide the crown when by the pinion EG 41 teeth on crown and 8 on pinion 41 divided x 8 = 5.125 |

Unless someone has swapped in lj80 (4.56) or lj50 (4.88) diff gears, (or 1.3 axle assemblies) yours will be 4.1, same as all sj40's. Steve. |
