Just got a 92 Vitara and need a supplier for either new outer CV's or complete half shafts. Seen a few options on eBay but a bit dubious about quality. Anyone used eBay/china CV's? Otherwise what are my options? Prefer Melbourne area. |

Most people just rob and pillage other vitara wrecks. |

Do GV half shafts bolt up? And are they the same left to right? |

Are you blowing them? What set-up do you have? Could go Hilux CVs. Stubby shaft + Hagen widening mod + BenT kit. |

haha nah it's stock as a rock. just bought it and getting a bad creaking from passenger side. might try an ebay job, at least it's new instead of risking a 2nd hand one. |

Nothing will be better then a stock one. Thats y they r $500 . The cheap ones use a different inner joint thats not as strong and doesnt have the same movement |

GV shafts are longer & are the same set up as earlier Vitara - ie, 3 bolt flange on the P/S with intermediate shaft in the housing & direct into the side gear on the D/S. They use 26 spline diff sidegears, which is the same as the late Vitara (approx. 1996 onwards - with the rounded, integrated dash cluster), but different to the 1988-1995 cars. (22 spline) Rgs, Michael |
