I'd like more leg room in my Sierra. Easiest mod I've read about is to hammer the stoppers flat on the seat rails, allowing them to slide all the way back. I'd do it, but I've also head that unsurprisingly the extra leverage bends the rails and the seat no longer slides. Does anyone have any simple mods to increase leg room with the stock seats? |

I bet it wouldn't hurt to move the seat up a smidge - if so, some 20X40 box section welded into a frame sitting between the seat and the rails would do the job. Bear in mind you'll probably need to move the steering wheel back an equal amount to maintain the ergonomics. (I think the seat backrest is too far from the steering wheel standard) Steve. |

I run a smaller steering wheel with boss kit which gives me a heap more room and means i can actually wind my window down whilst driving, with a stock steering wheel i cant even get close my knee jams against the wheel |
