My beastie came with some sort of a redneck tow bar which bolts int the 4 holes in the rear cross member there's a bloke in holland eejholand who seems to flog a lot of lj parts he's showing a bunch of different tow bars also was there ever a factory option, what did it look like and was it avail in oz? |

my 50 has one just like that. its a BIG piece of angle bolted to the rear cross member. FYI the four bolts in the cross member are too close together to bolt on a pintle, I know cause I tried it |

looks like a homeade version of this https://www.ebay.com.au/i/261961091276?chn=ps the ones that the holland guy is showing look like they bolt onto the frame with a couple of load straps the factory manual only shows a single recovery hook bolted into the holes |

Hi I know this probebly isn’t the right place for this post but I really need some help on where I could source some drive shafts for my 1978 lj81 as my unijoints appear to be welded in thanks Tom |
