Our 2000 M13A Jimny needs work on the auto transmission.
Can you recommend someone with good knowledge of our vehicle.

Symptoms - massive jolt on gear shift and I think it's now in some sort of limp mode.

Wholesale Automatics would be my recommendation, but be aware these autos have very limited parts availability.

Thanks for the quick reply I'll call them.

I found this in my research from Cobra Transmissions are these the appropriate parts?
A174 Master Rebuild Kit - WITH Friction and WITH Steels / No Pistons / Suzuki 2000-2007 Every L3 0.07L, L4 1.3L /2000-2004

Mick or Ian at Suziworld in Diamond Creek are also worth a call.
But, like Gwagen says, these are not a nice thing to rebuild & exy when you do.
Guy offered us a c2014 car he forgot to put in low range to climb some hills & cooked the auto. wanted to bail out of the car, rather than pay for a rebuild. We didn't want it for the $4k he wanted for it.
