| Post subject: | fuel piping question |
so i'm up to connecting the fuel. i have made up 3 new fuel pipes, one thick and 2 thins i have connected the fat pipe to what i think is the pickup line for the tank ( including a couple of pics) however, 1. where does the return pipe go? is it the thin plastic line into the top of the plastic tank 2. what about the pickup in the neck of the tank 3. what the hell is the 3rd line for ? |

Does the 3rd line from the plastic fuel separator go to the air filter? |

I am kind of guessing, the parts list shows the hose (32) terminating with a clip and my workshop manual shows the air box having a small hose to it which I can't identify. |

i think you're right on the money, its a venting pipe what about the 2 nipples , one on the neck, one on the filler pipe? nothing on the pic |

The upper hose to the plastic tank is the normal vent. I'll be honest I don't know where the fuel return from the pump goes, possibly the one on the neck, I didn't even spot that. |
