Congratulations on being selected for Auszookers Zook Owner of the Month!

How does it feel being honoured with the nomination for Z.O.O.M. 2015?
Surprising! im pretty chuffed to have the privilege.

So tell us about yourself. Who are you, What's the meaning to your username, Where do you live, and what do you do for a living?
Hello im Jake Perram Hence the username. i live in bullaburra blue mountains New South Wales. but im from Forster originally. im a 3rd yr apprentice sheet metal worker.

How did you get started in Suzuki's & how many have you owned?
growing up in a coastal town with loads of beach driving round, meant that there where heaps of standard sierra rust buckets for me to admire. and after years of perving on auszookers at everyones sierra builds, i finally bought a beautiful charcoal LWB vitara
2 suzukis so far
i had a lwb vitara g16b auto after selling that to toney evans i bought my current sierra.

How long did it take you to build your zook to what it is today?
from the first week i bought it i havnt stopped tinkering. so about half way through the 4th year.

Any changes in store for your Suzuki?
im hoping this summer will bring me a g16b baleno. but a rear diff lock. vurrently halfway through a new bumper atm.

What has been your best modification?
6.5 reduction gears. the most useful and awesome upgrade.

What has been your worse modification?
i thought it would be cool to wire a strobe module and controller to my 42inch light bar. it was not cool. not at all.

If you could have anybody else's zook, who's would it be and why?
i would have to say pez's lwb sierra.

What has been your best 4wding trip?
i joined on a trip with a few of the guys from here to do the gardens of stone track followed by black fellows hand trail.
was the funniest and most exhausting 4wd trip iv ever been on.

If you could go to any place in the world to wheel, where would that be?
i would love to drive around Moab.

Who are you closest to in the auszooker's community?
Blkfxx,i Have been on several trips with him. he is the go to guy for Suzuki knowledge.

Tell us what the wheeling is like in your area?
mainly hill and steep stepped trails. as i mostly hit up the gardens for stone which an awesome trail that runs alone the top and near the edge of a long sandstone cliff line.

What other toys/hobbies do you put a lot of time into?
im a pretty avid out doorsman.
i also teach white water kayak and am a paid white water raft guide.
i guess im a massive fan of the outdoors.
i ride bikes both motored and not.
hike long several day trails.
kayak silly out of control rivers all around Australia.

What is it about the auszookers that brings you back for more?
the absolute limitless knowledge. and when atari beats down a troll.

What about the auszookers forum would you like to see changed?
a like button? no seriously though it should be mandatory to photo dump on every build update.

Now for the million dollar question, who do you select to be the next Z.O.O.M. & why?
Blkfxx. have a look through his build thread of his drover. im a massive fan of building your car to your needs and his build is a perfect example.

Man I remember when you first bought the tintop... constant tinkering pays off. Nice read Perram.
