Congratulations on being selected for Auszookers Zook Owner of the Month!
How does it feel being honoured with the nomination for Z.O.O.M. 2017?
Pretty stoked on the nomination and it feels really good to have something I have worked on soo much to be noticed
So tell us about yourself. Who are you, What's the meaning to your username, Where do you live, and what do you do for a living? My name is Justin and I have always roamed around solo in my 4wd looking for surf spots and put parts of my 4wd in the mix.
I live in Morley and work at Linfox in South Guildford in the warehouse being part of the receipts team and sometimes despatch when needed.
How did you get started in Suzuki's & how many have you owned?I have had 2 Grand Vitaras.
My first car was a 1990 Nissan Pulsar SSS that took me down south alot when the waves were up but there were places I couldn't get to unless you had a 4wd. I did try in Ford Laser Hatch and yeh that wasn't the best day So my first 4wd I bought was a White 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara. Chose this one as I love the power it offered with a 2.5L v6, Had plenty of room for my camping and bodyboarding stuff and looked really nice as the interior was immaculate and everything worked really well. My second was a 2003 Grand Vitara because I really do love the GV's with how they handle, parking in the shopping centres, not too big, the engine is nice and powerful and I have built up experience on working with them over the years.
How long did it take you to build your zook to what it is today?
A painful 4 years but well worth it
Any changes in store for your Suzuki?
Currently working on fitting a Hilux CV conversion as I have had enough of broken CV's.
What has been your best modification?Would have to be the front Suspension. Fitted the 4xfourart control arms and the 3" jimny bits coils with 2" Ironman front struts gives it such a nice and higher look. Also alot easier to work under.

What has been your worst modification?
The rear bumpstops. Tried drilling an angled thread into the aftermarket spacer to remove the rubbing on the coil but ended up breaking and jamming inside the coil every now and then when I was down in Pemberton. Lucky I had my tools and could remove it.

https://ibb.co/n4LQfaIf you could have anybody else's zook, who's would it be and why?
Dales (gone.west) vitara. The mods, performance and look is just amazing! Would be soo much fun to drive around in!
What has been your best 4wding trip?
Would have to be the Pemberton trip in January. Lots of soft sand and hills.

If you could go to any place in the world to wheel, where would that be?Maybe America. They have some nice mountains and snow in some areas which would be a different style of driving that I would like to try one day.
Who are you closest to in the auszooker's community?
MrRocky. Helpful and always making people feel welcome.
What other toys/hobbies do you put a lot of time into?
Love my bodyboarding where I get out down south when I can and building my PC. Keeping up to date with the latest parts isn't cheap, but playing games is well worth it!
Bailed!

https://ibb.co/n2hffaWhat is it about the auszookers that brings you back for more?
The help I get and trying to help others when I can. Reading about other peoples rigs and also scrolling through the the pointless posts in the 'Chat' section for a laugh.
What about the auszookers forum would you like to see changed?
The avatar to be a little bigger or linked to a full size image as there are some good avatars on here.
Now for the million dollar question, who do you select to be the next Z.O.O.M. & why?
Dan! (2000GV). Such enthusiasm and the will to 'Keep Going'. Good bloke and helpful with questions.
Some pics of my rig. More can be found in my build but don't worry, some of the stuff was temp that wasn't used for driving haha.
The cheapest mod was the airflow upgrade. 3" straight through to snorkel - Through a Filter of course
https://ibb.co/fH0i0aMost common issue GV owners will have is a broken CV fitting lockers

Fitted an LSD from 4xfourart which is well worth it but freewheeling hubs are a must if you break a CV

New Sliders
https://ibb.co/iVWHRFBefore and after pic last year showing how much different a few mods can make it look! Would like a shoutout to Colin at Maxit4x4 for all his hard work he has put into my 4wd for all the bar work who has now retired from his job to continue on his family life.

Bit of flex falling into a rut deeper than I thought breaking my CV
