Nice one Steve. I enjoyed reading that. I realised after all these years I don't think I have seen a pic of the gwagon. |

Also, in the last incarnation, someone asked about snow driving - Tanshi? It's pretty weird stuff to drive on. It's different every year, and can be different morning to afternoon. From that point of view, it's super dynamic and can be quite challenging. One of the issues is that you can need momentum to get the car to sit up on the snow, but any wheelspin at all can just ice the snow up and you're stuck. It's really engaging, which is what makes it worth the hassle. Steve. |

Congratulations on the ZOOM and cheers for the info about the snow driving, I figure once it's done I'll at least have to drive my rig down to the snow given the colour scheme... That and snow is awesome fun, at least it was the two times I've been! |

I'm liking the ZOOM concept. Each person has a different backgound but all enjoy the suzuki marque and have modified their cars to suit their own individual wheeling style. Congrats Steve I'm with alien on this one Hedge pig one of my favourite rigs too. |

This was well picked. Posts by Steve are usually interesting because there is pretty much always reasoning behind what he says. Kind of like reading a scholarly article but not one that you're being forced to read for some class. For example the effects and benefits of linking HRM with OH&S in a SHRM fashion. Will be looking forwards to Blingy and the Ford build when you get around to it. Oh, and I laughed when I saw the shed in drab too. |

Thanks everyone Joe wrote: Hey Steve was the red thing in 4wda years and years ago? Sure was. Michael Ellem shot it in the year 2000. It was har from complete at the time - The rims were brand new and I bent two of them whilst he was shooting it!. Funny, I caught up with Michael at Tuff Truck this year, and he remembered the shoot, which isn't bad going - he's shot a lot of cars over the years. It was also used for a DPS on CruiserKhana in 4WDA a couple of years later. Steve. |

Good read - thanks for taking the time as usual Steve. I always appreciate your posts, even if I don't necessarily agree with everything I value the contribution from someone who is obviously a lot more knowledgeable and experienced than I am. I have learnt a great deal and avoided a lot of expensive/painful mistakes because you have offered your advice and guidance, so my personal thanks for that. I'm sure I'm not the only one. |

Thanks Darkhorse. I certainly never expect or want people to agree with me - we're all working with different compromises, vehicles and terrain - but the interest, for me, is all in the why and that's where I learn the most, it often gets lost amongst the how though, which isn't nearly as interesting (often) i just thought I'd throw my build thread in here - I'm sure not everyone who might be interested has come across it, especially as it's slipped back a bit. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13839 I'm building up a list of things I want to work on/rework over the next few months, so there will be more activity in there soon. Steve. |

*Sneaks in on the last day* No, sorry alien, I don't really. I have a couple of photos of the cab pulled apart, but none of the car before I started. I never really thought to take photos when I started it. Suffice to say, it was a stock, rough 1.0 on bar treads. Anyway - your turn Thanks again for your kind words this month folks - much appreciated. Steve. |
