Congratulations on being selected for Auszookers Zook Owner of the Month!
How does it feel being honoured with the nomination for Z.O.O.M. 2015? Didn't think I'd get nominated as ZOOM tbh, so feel really honoured that people think I'm worthy of it
So tell us about yourself. Who are you, What's the meaning to your username, Where do you live, and what do you do for a living? My name Gideon and my username is from back in the day I used to do a bit of gaming. I have lived and grown in Brisbane. I am/was an apprentice sparky but haven't worked since November 2014 due to breaking my collarbone and then tearing my ACL and meniscus in March.
How did you get started in Suzuki's & how many have you owned? Well my GV has been in the family since about 2004 when my parents bought it, then later sold it to my grand parents. I managed to get my hands on it for a Landcruiser Park trip and bashed it up a bit, so my dad said that's my new car!
Out at Cruiser Park at the start of Cruiser Canyon as a stocker

This is the second GV, The Twin. It was originally meant to be a project for my uncle and myself to restore for him, instead he decided to buy a pootrol. So it's now going to be up for sale shortly.
Then the third GV I bought which I was going to throw all my gear under, but decided I couldn't be bothered and just parted it and took some parts to throw under my rig.
How long did it take you to build your zook to what it is today? It has taken me around 3 years to build it up to where it is today, which has been a good experience doing most of it myself.
Any changes in store for your Suzuki? I would like to fix up some of the panel damage so my front doors actually open properly! And definitely get onto Lux CV conversion because stock ones are starting to piss me off!
What has been your best modification? I would have to say my recently installed crawler gears! I haven't had much time to play around with them yet, but they make it a lot more controllable. After that it would have to be the stubby mod! With the amount of CV's I go through it has saved me so much time changing them!
What has been your worse modification? The worst mod would probably have to be body sliders. Welding panels is pretty shit and so much effort went into them that I can't be bothered to do the other side haha!
If you could have anybody else's zook, who's would it be and why? Would probably have to be Hedgepig or The Underdog. Love a good ute build built for a purpose.
What has been your best 4wding trip? I have been going to Fraser Island since I was born, love getting away and chilling out on the beach fishing!
If you could go to any place in the world to wheel, where would that be? I would like to travel and see what OZ has to offer, in particular Cape York, Wattos and Vic High Country. Overseas would love to wheel in the Malaysian Rainforests and also Moab.
Who are you closest to in the auszooker's community? Would have to be Henno, I talk to him almost everyday!
Tell us what the wheeling is like in your area? My local is Glasshouse Mountains, great variety of terrain out there from mud pits to long rock climbs. We put our rigs through their paces up there!
Couple Vids
What other toys/hobbies do you put a lot of time into? I bought a Dirt Bike when I turned 18 that I used to ride almost every weekend, until recently when I injured myself pretty badly on it so decided it was better to sell it. Need something to replace it so looking at getting into Jetskiing!
What is it about the auszookers that brings you back for more? Just the amount of knowledge and information on here, I wouldn't know where else to look! I also enjoy reading through a good build!
What about the auszookers forum would you like to see changed? I would like to see dedicated vehicle forums with sticky threads where newbies can look and find answers for lift/tyre/motor questions that get asked on a daily basis.
Now for the million dollar question, who do you select to be the next Z.O.O.M. & why? I would like to nominate 31zook! I enjoyed his Jimny build and some of the stuff he designed, Edna looks like it's going to be an awesome build as well
Congrats, Klutched. Great to see someone pushing way past the limits of what a GV was designed to do. I have always enjoyed reading your build page and watching your crazy vids.
