Congratulations on being selected for Auszookers Zook Owner of the Month!

How does it feel being honoured with the nomination for Z.O.O.M. 2017?

Yeah its pretty good, I try to keep up with Z.O.O.M. didn't think id ever make it on here! so I am pretty excited right now!

So tell us about yourself. Who are you, What's the meaning to your username, Where do you live, and what do you do for a living?

So I am Murray, or Muz for short. I run my own refrigeration and Air conditioning business on the NSW central coast, but I am from Tamworth and have only been on the coast for 2 years.
The story about my user name came from when i was 17 and bought my first suzuki, I had been searching for months for a 4x4 and was set on a hilux, out of the blue I stumbled upon a 1Lt wagon for the affordable price of $500. So off to forster it was, when i get there I to buy the car it had just come off the beach on for its last fishing trip and i was too excited to own a 4x4 and didnt look too hard, ill cut the long story and get to the point, that car had spent 5 years on forster beach and had not seen a hose for that whole time, there were chunks of car bog falling out on its trip home over the dirt and the user name Rustyzook was the choice.

How did you get started in Suzuki's & how many have you owned?

As above, i wanted my own 4x4 and could not afford anything over 2k being a 17 year old, I found the sierra for $500 and had to have it! all up ive had a few suzukis 2x 1lt tin tops 1x LJ50 1x 1.3WT 1x 1.3 ute and mrs rusty has had 2 vitaras over the years almost forgot the Wobbly jim! so add a jimny that list as well.

How long did it take you to build your zook to what it is today?

The zook I own today was build by fellow forum member Appsie, I have done a few bits and pieces to her but shes a pretty solid nugget.

Any changes in store for your Suzuki?

The terrain is quite different down here, I think its time for a winch, A/C would also be nice!

What has been your best modification?

the 2 best mods I have had on a sierra would have to be the 6.5s and the 1.6

What has been your worst modification?

SPOA with z-link, silly days!

If you could have anybody else's zook, who's would it be and why?

Theres a few I would love to own, lgp29's is a total weapon and drives everything with ease! Edna is also pretty unstoppable. Bogga's new toy will be awesome!

What has been your best 4wding trip?

Ive had a few over the years so its a hard pick! snow trips in Nundle state are always a good trip! also Bass lodge trips, so if I had to pick it would be between them a few of them, but its to hard too choose one!

If you could go to any place in the world to wheel, where would that be?

Tassie, its been on the list, but I need a better suzuki!

Who are you closest to in the auszooker's community?

lgp29, we do a lot of day trips around the place, sometimes 31zook, calzook and shiv get along too which makes for an awesome day!

What other toys/hobbies do you put a lot of time into?

I have a BCF kayak and a heap of fishing gear!

What is it about the auszookers that brings you back for more?

Its a good place for info and everyone for the most part is pretty helpful!

What about the auszookers forum would you like to see changed?

Bring back Joe! also phuckphotobucket! its a dead link graveyard (including my own) thats why this post has stuff all pics!

Now for the million dollar question, who do you select to be the next Z.O.O.M. & why?

Pete_79 he has had some pretty cool builds on here and sounds like a top bloke!

Congrats RustyZook. My apologies, I read your PM on the weekend and forgot about ZOOM

Who needs front shocks when theres all that SPOA going on!, earlier that day the shock pushed threw the shock tower so we had to take it off to keep driving, then it just didn't make it back on for a few days haha. Ill find some more pics to post up as soon as I can get photopucket and some old HDDs working!

Also Marko its all good, Ive been working away so much lately it was a rush to get into the office to get the ZOOM form finished sorry its lacking so many images!

No problem so long as you're happy with the way it turned out. :)
