Congratulations on being selected for Auszookers Zook Owner of the Month!

How does it feel being honoured with the nomination for Z.O.O.M. 2017?

Feel rather special pompoms

So tell us about yourself. Who are you, What's the meaning to your username, Where do you live, and what do you do for a living?

I am getting to be a crusty old bugger i suppose , closer to 50 than 40 , married 2 kids 2 dogs and a budgie . Born Bred and Raised in WA ,
I hail from a farm became a mechanic then evolved into a driller / drill fitter , worked dido and fifo until the early 00s
ran my own little business for a few years , contracted to a company maintaining and commissioning water treatment plants all over the world for a few years ,
but have got back into directional drilling over the last few years
username came from one of the first forums that I joined , Macca was taken so I was Mad

How did you get started in Suzuki's & how many have you owned?

had a mate who bought a LWB sierra new that we used to go away on surfing trips in (late 80s ) Then I met a young fella with a little red hardtop who directed me here to AZ ,
Have had a few zooks a lwb trayback that Zookini now owns viewtopic.php?f=4&t=22342
at the moment I have 2 swb sierras that have been completely stripped 1 lwb sierra that is in the slow process of being revbuilt from ground up and two Mauriti LWBs that will get looked at eventually
also have DeVitt but she is also in bits , and my daily drive at present is a x-90
I may have a few problems lol

How long did it take you to build your zook to what it is today?

3 to 5 yrs depending which one lol , seem to have time and no $$ or $$ and no Time

Image

Any changes in store for your Suzuki?

lots in store for the lwb , I have collected a few parts over the years and will do bits and pieces when I can

What has been your best modification?

on Devitt moving the shock angle
on the X-90 putting radial trepps on it
the LWB is still getting to the stage of completely stripped

What has been your worst modification?

starting to tidy up the wiring on DeVitt

Image

If you could have anybody else's zook, who's would it be and why?

Mr Rockys last build , was / is a very well balanced car that he had put together well

What has been your best 4wding trip?

going to King of the Hammers , Cape York and the Kimberly , competing at Tuff Truck

If you could go to any place in the world to wheel, where would that be?

Going back to the USA to wheel is on the list , as is Africa

Image

Who are you closest to in the auszooker's community?

in no particular order Troopy ,Red89, Zook93 , Denby , Zookini , Mr Rocky , Tullio ( not sure on his username ) TBH I have met most of the WA guys , and a few of the guys over east

What other toys/hobbies do you put a lot of time into?

Photography ,check 4x4 Images on FB , and spending $$ on my kids lol

What is it about the auszookers that brings you back for more?

one of the few forums that has been able to weather the Faceache storm and the history that I have here , always enjoy seeing what new projects are being talked about

What about the auszookers forum would you like to see changed?

more polls from steak knife

Now for the million dollar question, who do you select to be the next Z.O.O.M. & why?

Shep , why not :P

Congratulations to Madmacca for being ZOOM April 18 - Macca, if you have any more pics you want up, just PM them for me and I'll chuck them up - I understand you've been under the pump at work so I just pinched these from your build thread and tried to put them in an order that makes sense.

Hope you like how it turned out anyway.

Cheers,
Mark
