tidy unit GLWS, not a great deal of these things got sold when new. it's got me stumped why suzuki dropped the swift & GTI names for the baleno & now that VW own the rights to the GTI tag line again there will never be another GTI suzuki... reckon it would have been heaps more popular if they'd run with the swift name & called the 1.8 the GTI.

Yes it's in good condition, no accidents.
But after owning it all this time I will be selling it and my other cars as well, looking at buying a VW Amarok.

no interior shots & don't buy a dakdak. interesting to see that the j18a got a coil pack cover of sorts where my j20a doesn't.

I was just wondering if I should try hunting down that coil pack cover - tidies the engine up nicely.

Amarok are ok until you put a bag of cement in the back then the little motor fucks out. I drove that and the Navara STX 550, bought the Nav, couldn't be happier. Well, if it wasn't $64k I would be happier

yeah the amarok has the ZD30 patrol syndrome, tiny highly strung TD pushing a great lump of crap around.

But you can fit an industrial pallet (physically) in the back of an Amarok without a dirty steel tray.
Nice baleno!

Gone a little off the Amarok at the moment finish doesn't seem as good as a Hilux.
But doesn't matter as I haven't sold any of my cars/bikes and I don't need a 6 rego.

Another Baleno? http://www.caradvice.com.au/382715/2016 ... -unveiled/ Do your research before buying any VW product. From what I've found (looking at a new Golf Alltrack) they are expensive to service, the Golf 7 seems to suffer from a lot of electronic gremlins and the DSG gearboxes (especially the 7 speeds) still suffer from reliability problems.

Not getting a Amarok now I have a mate who is a motor mechanic an he has a few come through with gearbox problems.
I just came back from test driving a new Grand Vitara and I think I am sold on one, just have to check around for the best price.

Amaroks also have issues where they throw the belts off and smash the timing cover to bits causing it to then throw a timing belt. Vw have even got upgraded timing covers now
