come back after several months not logging in.... first thread i read... NOT DISSAPOINTED!!!!!

btw, I spent a RIDICULOUS amount of time in choosing a new boat for my Jimny to get under the 350kg unbraked tow limit. Glad I did, it'd be a nightmare any heavier.

About 1500kg. (What it does)
Anyways.
I'm doing a little bit of work to muffin this week.
Adding another leaf to the packs, changing the bearing seals 2 boat ones
And a small digital volts gauge so I can keep a eye on the battery when camping.

So.. im getting ready for a big trip away atm...
so some work has gone into the trailer.
new wheel bearings, the old ones were only 1500km old BUT im doing around 6000km all up so worthy investment.
also painted rims and a few other little bits! the old bearings were a bit loose and it tows SO much better now! amazing difference!

So i havnt posted in here for AGES!
my trailer is just chilling in the yard!
i am looking to fit hydro trailer breaks and some shocks to the trailer shortly, as in march its looking like another EPIC mainland trip!
looking at doing tassie to WA this time!
whats peoples opinions on breaks? i was thinking along the lines of sierra calipers and a hydro setup on a new treg hitch?
Something like this

So as usual im getting set for another big trip away!
this time we are going as far north as hamilton island (well the land part)
so i have started to prep the camper up, i FINALLY have 2x sets of mags with 215s on them! so now my camper actually matches my jimny!
i have also added a gas strut inside the tent to hold it on its own, so for quick camping i dont need tent pegs.
i have also started to install 12v water pump with an outlet in the kitchen.

Image

all for now, more soon
