I'm throwing ideas around for my next project. You fellas (chistover1,Luhrsy68 etc) here have inspired me to consider this trailer.

I already have the trailer itself - it carries my catamaran and all my sailing and camping gear already.

But now I am considering this removable stitch -and-glue ply/epoxy teardrop as a project. This method is most often used for boat building but does get used for campers, winebago etc. It will sort of be practice for my first boat actually.

It's 3.6m long... queen bed across front and up to 3 single births as well. Standing room when hatch is open.

Anyone got any feedback so far?

I like the idea.
I know nothing of fibreglassing, but it would be water tight.
I like the rear entry and stand up area.
Can't wait to watch the build.

Keep it very light, if it needs to be Zookable.

Thx mate. I'm between zukes at the moment. 4 kids and towing boats, ya know.

I may however be seduced by a GV in time
