Cool, expedition spec.... I think the only point I can see is the tent legs landing on the rail and not transferring the load directly down to the trailer. But I guess you've sorted that with your gussets.

When I lifted my rooftop up above the trailer it caused a extra drag with the wind, I eventually mounted it down on the trailer now the Jimny pulls it Ok

A little more done. Swapping the crap imperial stud bolts for some crap imperial bolts with nyloc nuts. Extended the loom to match light lift. And body dropped the cage... Very close now! How ever. My lists never get shorter Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

Put the tent back on the trailer if you're doing rough roads. I can't see alloy brackets with bolts through them being there on the way back. The steel bolt will vibrate through the alloy.
bye

could drop the tent down to the deck and put a frame and basket over with a hinge for the extra storage. but only if you need to.
Looks sweet as like that!

Looks so damn clean! I love it! Might be stealing an idea or two here and like the sierra too mate! That red pin striping on the black rims matches well do you have build thred or anything in the rigs section? JB.

Yeah its under perrams zookinator.
I have been taking to trailer to work and back to see what fuel is like.
Its about 10.9L per 100k.
Pretty stoked with that. (However this increases allot when you have 2 bikes and a kayak on top...

Yeah fine its only about 400mm from the rack. But solid as a rock. Its just the aldi awning.
It shakes a little but thats just the ali flexing.

[quote="Perram"]Great cheers!
Cleaned and painted the only rusty part on the trailer
Bloke off here by the name of Santos, gave me this cool trick.
Vinegar some any rusted gear to make them shiny new. Works awesome!!!
Vinegar is safer, I generally use hydrochloric, it works faster but can be a bit harder on the lungs and clothes if it splashes. Just dont leave it in too long or you might not see your object of desire again. Does a great job though.
