Guys Im looking to put a RTT on my JT Vitara. I went on down to ARB and the "computer says no" response came back. I have previously had this setup on a jimny where I ripped off the factory rails and put a Thule channel on it and used universal racks. Gave me much higher weight capacity and had NO issues with the tent on the roof. had 3 ppl in it at one stage SO, has anyone on here got a RRT on a Vitara and if so what'd you do to make it work with the pissy 50KG "roof limit" or is the 50KG just the plastic channel limit like Jimnys Thought? |

The 50kg is the limit when driving, which no RTT should really weigh. Static weight limit is a very different thing. |

I've noticed Wicked have thrown RTTs on top of Corollas and other little shit boxes, pretty scary to see them on the highway. But this is the same company that got done for having all those roadworthy vans risking lives all over the country. Go with the Thule. |

yep... got a Thule! they are rated 75KG. I was bagging out Rhino Rack in the shop for only being 50KG. The rep popped his head around the corner and was all "they are rated to factory spec" sorry dude the factory spec is 75kg from my vehicle manual. |
