I have bought a steering wheel etc, they sent it on the 3rd and the tracking email came from USPS to say it cleared customs at 8 am today so I am more than happy with their service

i received an email back saying that the petroworks kit is still in getting zinc plated. I think that it was quite rude how he replied to my email "should be any day". I would of rather him say sorry mate still out of stock till ******date should be in my warehouse ********date then due for delivery on *******date. Its pretty piss poor communication, but whats done is done and winging about it wont get it here any quicker! My 1.6 is just sitting around getting dusty!

back in 2006/07 he was like that, communication was excellent. Definitely a change of attitude over the years.

maybe you should have bought the kit from BenT, bet you would have had it by now. People are too quick to look (Further) overseas for cheap shit. Supporting Australia's poorer Bru's would be a good thing!

I was going for the benT kit however I'm steering clear of a bodylift! Hence the 1.6 petroworks kit that is the only kit where you don't have to run bodylift. Plus I'm not a mad welder/steel fabricator I'm a chippy so I don't have the leet skills like some of you guys do to weld custom eng mounts!

You do not need a bodylift for a benT kit or any welding skills. When installing the vit 1.6 in my brothers lwb everything fitted ok. The bonnent only touched the top of the inlet manifold, you can trim a little bit of the bracing and it will clear fine.

I also liked the stronger look of the petroworks kit.

Yep, the guy doing the emails in Customer service is a little casual.

I enquired about a poly body mount kit and was told they had none because their supplier was a flake - got a laugh out of me though!

I'd email him back and explain your concerns, better still get on the phone and call them. I had a similar issue with a UK wrecker I was sourcing parts from and a 2 min phone call sorted everything out.

I sold me grandmother, and will live on baked beans for 6 months.

I ordered my Vitara T-case gears this morning (Friday 10th June)
Which is last night, Thursday 9th June, after hours in USA.
(So I won't get confirmation till they open in thier morning I guess)
I chose USPS Express International option.
I usually use the cheapest option,
but this option only added $10 US
And was only $20 US dearer than the option you have to email/ring for.

I am curious what difference the extra $20 will make to delivery?
Will come back with delivery date/time once it happens.

Bummer, wasted $10 trying to get faster delivery, oh well, too cold to fit them at the moment anyway.

Ask them for your $10back. THese guys are getting dodgier every year.

I had a mate asking for a flare kit and the guys didn'y even want to sell them to him. what a joke.

Ive order loads of parts from lowrange in the last few months
Never had a problem with Sean
Two or three emails and I've got my part

It's no point asking ur $10 back cos when they get your part in they'll still send it like u payed the extra for

Also it's properly his responsibility to tell you if the part is in stock or or isn't when you order, but does help if you just ask if the part is in stock before you order if he doesn't tell you

I order my locker on Thursday and it arrived today
So far I've been lucky and had no trouble with Sean

I've had no problems either.
I'm a bit too unwell to fit them in this cold weather anyway.
I was just lookin forward to seeing the bits in the kitchen, not on the web :)

I've never had a problem with them!

Last order was 2 sets of jeeper flares. Not small!

I always bulk order up to 1k though.

I just go thru the buy process, till I can get the shipping quote,
then just cancel before buying.
That works for a lot of sites where shipping charges aren't available before purchase.
I prefer Bits4Vits when possible, easier site to use.
