I think that was the car that my cousins mate had. It was very big and bulky! Shit 4by though! it kept on getting stuck in the sand! Even when it had HUGE TYRES on it! thats why i want a cool zook! But i like the look of big lifted suzuki's, with cool wheels and sic stereo! .

I think a vit with a 5" lift, 33's and a locker would go good at lano

i run that sort of lift on 31's but with a heap of extra width & it's perfectly fine.... gearing is going to be the biggest issue & an expensive one to fix if running 33's.

Around Perth there is only sand/beach and the power line track. it is all softroader stuff. the mods you are looking at would be for wank factor only (I dont mean that nasty) also for sand you dont want muddies as they will dig more that A/T.

We have a sierra that had a 6 inch spring over conversion, rear diff lock, gearing and 32 rock crawling tires. we have taken it all out as they have closed off all the good (hardcore) areas.

I know a modded zook looks "cool" but in reality a stock vit or sierra will get you all the places you need to around perth.

cheers
Yvonne

Hey mate, good to see your interest in zooks. I personally have owned my 97 Vitara V6 2.0L for almost 2.5 Years and has never let me down, it would be the way for you to go. The mods i have on mine are:
2" Body
3" Suspension
30" Cooper ST's
Front and Rear Lockers
plus all your extra's luxuries, snorkel, stereo etc.

You don't want anything like that beast up top there http://www.google.com.au/imgres?hl=en&b ... ,s:0,i:152
cause you'll roll it in two seconds flat.

Even with all my mods the car look good but not over the top and still is a smooth ride on the road. I use it as my everyday car as well as some weekend fun. There isn't too much out of my reach but it all depends on how big you wanna go. easy to medium 4wding is what you should aim for in a vit, especially if you are new to it. So keep looking mate and i think you'll find one that will suite you. :)

Look at it this way:-

If you buy a sierra, then da pizzas will arive all soggy and cold no shizz coz of the soft top and its slowwwwwww but you will still be able to do da delivary if it is on the top of a muddy hill like harcdorz slope.
With da Vitara yo you might have to just park it at de bottem and walk the last bit up the driveway. Pizza still gonna be soggy coz of that if it is rainin still?
With the fully sic jimny you be able do both and still pull some birds on the way with if you replace the back seats with a fullly sic subwoofer.
You get me? You get me?... You have me got.

even if this guy is trolling he has asked a fairly decent question, it will be another thread which might help a lot of guests to the site decide on a zook. so thank you for you question azooksss, if you are trolling.... you have way too much time lol. maybe you should get a zook to fill up that spare time.
