just wondering if anyone has succesfully upgraded the wiper arm assembly on a sierra. mine are shit house and i have new blades, i just think the arms are worn and dont put enough pressure on the windscreen also too much movement in the arm assembly, they seem to stop in different places each time, and yes thay are tight on the shaft. it is like all the rivets and joints are worn on the arms..

You can get replacement wiper holder thingys from Ripco or Supercrap including the rubber insert. (Not the whole arm, just the top bit)

it's probably the plastic joints in the linkages. they are about $50 for a new linkage set from suzisport, pretty expensive when all you need is a little plastic bit, but you can't buy just the plastic bit.

There's a few different mounting types, they usually cater for most

this stuff is awesome!! used it years ago on the RangeRover when the passenger wiper died.. highly recommended.. The wax at high pressure car washes tend to do the same.. really beads the water..

Just bend the arm so it sits tighter on the screen
