I am in the process of replacing my wheel bearings and all the seals including the inner hub seals. (Suz part# 09289-48004). Has anyone ever tries this ?? am I putting the thing on the wrong way, caus I have already stuffed one of them and I can't get the shits on ??? does the rubber go into the hub or does the metal go over the outside - if the later, why are they loose ? Thanks |

Thanks As the Actress said to the Choirboy, are you sure you've got the right hole? 09289-48004 does not fit in the hub itself, and the part number says its a 48mm seal. The inner seal on the hub is 09283-54001, a 54mm seal, which would explain why your seal is a loose fit (BTW, you would have saved a lot of head scratching and searching if you'd have said VITARA hub!): |
