Hi i did a quick search and couldnt find anything.
My drain and fill plugs for my diffs are a little rounded (the square hole)
And the tool i bought from repco didnt work.
Any hints as to removing them?
Thanks

I had this hastle a while back. I got a 3/8 easy out from a bolt supplier. Drilled a small pilot hole first, acts as a drain also, then drilled bigger hole once oil was drained. Gently tapped in easy out to get it bitting in, then let it do its buisness to remove said rounded plug. Take your time and careful drilling will get you out of the poopoo

one of my fill plugs was stuck and rounded hole. i welded a short bolt on. the heat from welding actually 'broke' it free and then was easy to undo with a socket.

vice grips. they shouldn't be done up that tight.if that doesn't work then hammer and punch. if that doesn't work then drill and tap.
dont put them back in get new ones.

forget to say first i used a hammer and chisel type tool, it broke one fill plug free but the rear wouldn't budge so then went the welder way, but you could also just heat it up a bit
