COG is too high and you will tip over too easy. Low is sexy I.E: Girls dont want a guy to have a massive penis, too unstable and scary. What they want is a decent sized one that can climb that climax mountain every time without any scary/weird moments. |

While i love 86's analogy, I think dan might be looking at ways to get more flex out of his sierra... I'm no suspension guru, but there are a few people around here that should be able to give some pointers. |

its been covered. do a search and if you do it make sure you take no shortcuts......and pleeeaaase don't use aftermarket springs. |

im spoa and on 2inch bl. never tiped it. you just learn how to drive properly. pro. no springs to catch on rocks and its mad con- axle wrap but make a trac bar like i did and i cant see any con eveyone has an oppinion |

ive only ever owned spua zooks(3 now) and i loved them all as they were. Have had mates with spoa zooks,some on stock springs,some with lift springs,some with lift springs,shackles and bodylifts  haha.
The spua is simple,cheap,legal etc.but mine have failed to flex a great amount,not saying that others dont though. spoa mates ones have all been pretty flexy but have also as said above run into the axle wrap/spring breaking problems and as said pretty bloody tall.What i like about it most is the shackles are up out of the way a bit more and springs cant get caught so much. |

If done right either is good. My room mates is SPUA and his is nere unstopable but he is always catching and scraping his chassis and his front shackles. But on the other hand it is nere impossable to tip over. Mine is SPOA and with having RUF I ave more flex and it is much smoother to get up and or down anyting but it is much easier to tip over. For being SPUA his has a lot of flex with having climax rear sackles. I like the feel of mine over his but I feel much safer in his. You need to drive both to see what you like. |

The big question is, what sort of driving and how extreme are the tracks you visit.... Its a good idea to start simple, get used to the car, figure out what its shortcomings are on the tracks you drive, and as you need to do an upgrade to progress to the tracks you want to visit then do it then... |

i think like joe said - if you do it, and do it right, its a great setup. mines SPOA - had it on over a 45degree side slope climbing up hill last weekend and it still didnt tip, didnt even feel like it was going to. This said, mines SPOA on dead flat springs, so its not scary tall by any means - hence the recommendation not to run aftermarket springs as theyre usually both lifted and stiffer. My advice- talk to an engineer, as see how much its going to cost all up - if those two things fall into place then i say go nuts =) |
