Got sick of the windows rattling in the Sierra, so i went down to Clark Rubber with a sample, got the closest looking equivilent, came home and fitted it.
For anyone that wants to do it, five metres of number 19 bailey channel rubber is enough to do two doors in a Sierra. Its just over $10 a metre.
thanks for that, it was the last thing i am doing to my doors and didn't know where to get it. Window is now a little stiff, but at least it doesnt rattle... that drove me crazy - hence why i did all these upgrades:
(so far in the doors i've replaced
a) door panels with checkerplate ally - $170 inc postage on ebay (funnily enough, in darwin just the checkerplate (uncut) is more expensive than that)
b) window regulators - $40 each on ebay
c) inner and outer weatherstrips $40 each on ebay
and now the bailey channel also - $50 at clark rubber (funnily enough, that was just under $10 a meter in darwin ($9.95)))
