would this hose be suitable for diff breathers?

yep, probably overkill.... but way better than garden hose.

by overkill do you mean price? i wanna get the cheapest hose i can without going down the garden hose route.

i was talking about the 300Psi rating being an overkill.

Looks very tough but I think it will be a bit too stiff to be ideal for breathers - if the hose is too stiff it will try and walk off the barb off the diff as the car flexes.

transmission hose costs about $3.50 a metre, and 2 hose clamps about $2.50 available from most car stores.
