with the sub, amp, uhf, alarm (ect) installed, obviously my battery is feeling the strain. Apart from a dual battery system, any suggestions for getting longer lasting power? |

i went to batteryworld in osborne park.. got a sealed maintenance free 580CCA for 80 bucks.. does the trick i run about the amount of stuff that you do.. |

A Cap on the Subs amp would help with the Bass Hits? or are you having trouble starting it??? |

or are you having trouble starting it??? im getting the green fuzz on the -ve terminal and if im sitting around listening to music, or using the CB with the engine off it wont start. |

Bass requires Current and power... A Capacitor stores current and releases it on demand.. So even though your Battery maybe 550CCA, A Cap can store Big Voltage and release it when your amplifier needs it.. Less strain on your battery and less voltage drop (Turn on your AC with your headlights on and watch the voltage drop) cca= cold Cranking Amps |
