just crawled out from under another stray sierra. the owner was complaining that it wasn't handling as well as he remembered.. no wonder |

WOW - thats impressive! would have been a catastrophic failure if that let go at highway speed! my shackles are plated so wont be rusting out in a hurry =P |

I don't think you'd notice? Just some loose steering? Probably get the usual Sierra death wobbles. But even if you took the shackles off completely, you could probably still drive down the road without a problem. It's not like the diff is going to fold itself backwards under the car. ( yeah yeah i know it'd be unsafe, but just theorising ) |

after i rolled my sierra pulling out of a driveway i gave it a good once over (and change the body) and found i had this problem |
