Looks likes the top pictured one is already electronic ignition to me. Look like the 1.3 dizzy I'm using in mine.
If it is, use it, lower maintenance then the F8 points ignition
the two wires go to the coil. One to the positive, and one to the negative. Problem is I cannot remember which one is which on the dizzy
To keep the blower hoses, just use the original F8 dizzy cap on the electronic dizzy, they are 100% interchangeable.
RE that vacuum line on your carby, Mine goes no-where

. Have often wondered myself. My carb is a bit different to yours anyway
edit: make sure you use the coil that goes with the dizzy, the electronic ignition uses a different coil to the points ignition from memory. Also no condensers or Ballast resistor are to be used with the electronic ignition.
