 Just drove home tonight to realise the rear radius arm on my coily has broken, almost leaving my car... Rear diffless :(

I gather I'm going to need to weld this up with a FEW thick WASHERS... Any idea on how I can prevent this from happening again?

Pics to follow.

You are in perth, so I can't help with the work, but I am getting some beefed up mounts cut at the moment to counter this exact issue. First set goes to jonno_racing, but I ordered a few sets, as this seems to be a common issue with the coilies. :?

Are you going to front and rear? If so, it might be worth looking at making them with additional mounting holes (front holes on the front, rear holes on the rear) which are lower. This will allow the housing to rotate, correcting castor on the front and pinion flange angles on both diffs.

In the thread linked above you can see how my rear has been done, the front is done the same.

You can't go to crazy with the front though. The reason being, the more you rotate the housing, the closer the tie rod gets to the radius arms. Can be all fine when the wheels are poiting straight ahead, but when turning, the tie rod moves up and down slightly, and with the radius arms moving about during suspension moving, they can both come into contact with each other.
